Love Like This (Natalie Bassingthwaighte song)
"Love Like This" is to be the fifth and final single from Australian singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte's debut solo album 1000 Stars, released on 29 January 2010.[1]
Information
The song is being released to support the AIDS Council of New South Wales' campaign "Wear It with Pride" leading up to the 2010 Mardi Gras parade. All the single's proceeds are to go towards the ongoing support of the LGBT community. Of the single and the campaign Bassingthwaighte says "I would so love everybody to get behind this campaign and the message of this song as it would illustrate to the world how the whole country endorses and celebrates the LGBT community and these reforms. I support equal rights for all Australians and I hope that is what Love Like This and our video will say".[2]
Within 24 Hours of the release 'Love Like This' (as a full EP) had reached No.10 on the Albums chart on iTunes.
Music video
The song's official music video premiered on 27 January 2010[3] and features a cameos from many Australian TV personalities all of whom are wearing a selection of 'Wear It With Pride' t-shirts to support the campaign.
